Whilst I disagree with your view of the SMW division, I also don't think that it is the best division of all, not from a long way. There has been a dearth of real talent there, while most of the big names who have gone up have barely registered at SMW, seeing Light Heavy as the place to make big bucks. Roy Jones and Bernard Hopkins being the ones I have in mind.

Fighting opponents like Sam Soliman and Danny Green to take the IBF version of the belt does not attest to a great amount of depth in a division in my opinion, and the sooner Mundine gets whooped by a proper contender, like Bute, Lacy or Pascal, then the better for the division IMO.
