IMO Savon would not have fared well in the pros at all....just because it's a totally different fight.
He would have been 25 had he come out after his first Olympic Gold during a time where Tyson, Lewis, Bowe, Rudduck, Holyfield, and Bruno were leading the way in the division. Let us not forget he was 6'6 but close to 200 pounds so had he put on more weight maybe we'd be able to judge him better but I think all the big time heavyweights of the early to mid 90's would have muscled up on him and whipped his a**.
It's a HUGE difference now'a'days between the pro and amateur fight game
No Cuban has done well in the pros (since they stopped going pro, and especially in the heavyweight division)
