I agree that getting hit in the nuts hurts, but you can deal with it. All boxers if they can get to that level are tough regardless, and all of them can deal with getting hit in the nuts. I mean most small boxers hit hard have gone through fights with broken hands at some point before and that would hurt a lot more than getting hit in the nuts.
