Its almost impossible to pull off consecutive 100 yard games (his first 160 were all 100 yard games or more). Michael vick was around forever (18 years or some S*** and he still had high running speed for a qb like 75).
I always trade my star players away when they reach 30 years old. I can still get something for them and build for the future.

I started a new franchise with the Vikings and Brad Johnson retured after one season... made me sick. I am in the middle of my third season and I have Patrick Ramsey at QB and Kurt Kittner as a back up...
I usually do too but i've broken every nfl record imagineable with this running back so theres kind of a sentimental thing in keeping him on the roster. I had to trade away and fire alot of the star players i had because (even after i cleared the cap penalties from trades that breached contracts) my teams salary was up near $350,000. You can keep drafting with the first pick all you want to thru trades but if you keep alot opf the guys on your roster it will add up by about year 12. That running back is the only real franchise player i've had on my roster since i started the thing aside from aaron rogers who has a bullshit career ending injury when he was 30.
