Sorry, but this thread is beyond ridiculous.

Antonio Margarito has lived in Mexico since he was one week old. Who cares if he speaks English?

Who cares what language any fighter speaks or doesn't speak?

Why is learning and speaking English so ridiculous? You are saying learning something new or foreign is ridiculous? You come to this country to fight and you were born here and yet you still don't dare to speak her language? That is stupidity if you ask me.

What does it matter if he was born here, he was back in Mexico when he was a week old!! That's like saying that if I was born when my parents were on vacation in China, then I should feel obligated to learn Chinese.

And what does it matter if he's fighting in the US? Should Lamon Brewster have conducted his postfight interview in German last week?

I'll always applaud someone for learning a second language, because it's an impressive thing to do, but Antonio Margarito is under no obligation to learn English. Personally, I'd rather have a fighter speak in his native language, where he can clearly express his thoughts thru an interpreter, instead of struggling to conduct an interview in a second language.

CC for a MONTH TO YOU. Look at Cotto interviews he doesn't said what he really wants to say but yes he is trying. When he speaks spanish he uses very distiguish vocabulary.
