I didn't say that my dog could sense ghosts. Although I would pleased if he could. I was saying that he panics over the slightest change in his enviroment. A habit he may have picked up from me, of course.

Dogs can hear things humans can't--fact. Dogs see in black and white, so they say. Not sure how they test such things.

I guess I'm implying that there is a chance they can see and hear things we fail to detect.
Yes absolutely I can accept that argument but I still don't see why a dog or indeed any animal sensing something that we cannot means that what it is sensing is supernatural in origin.

I do believe totally in the words of Shakespeare however when he wrote 'There are more in things in heaven and earth Horatio than are dreamt of in your philosophy'..

I can absolutely entertain the possibility of supernatural beings, as I can accept the possibility of life beyond our galaxy or even outside of the universe, I just don't think that the likes of Taps on the Discovery channel or psychic ghosthunters are a reliable way to document such phenomena, in fact I think they are an embarrassment to real science.
