One other thing I'll add about Pernell is just how great of a chin he had. That often gets overlooked, because in his prime he never got hit, so no one knew whether his chin was any good.
When he faced Trinidad, his speed was gone and he couldn't make guys miss anymore, Tito landed bombs for 12 rounds and couldn't KO Pernell. The other guys who went the distance with Tito (Oscar, BHop, Winky), they were able to do it with great defense, they avoided getting hit. Pernell ate Tito's best shots for 12 rounds.

His chin is one of the things that separates Pernell from a fighter like Roy Jones.
