The fact remains, although this fight will in all likelyhood be won by Mayweather, it will be closer than many people are making out. Hatton is the best fighter that Mayweather has been matched with in his career.

Mayweather is correct when he says that Hatton has never been in the ring with anybody as good as him, but in all honesty, Mayweather has never been in the ring with somebody as good as Hatton.

i think oscar delahoya at jr. middleweight is a hell of a lot more dangerous than hatton. easiest way to look at it is...........

De la Hoya at his best would trouble mayweather at 154, but he is well past it. Hatton at 140 or even 147 is a better fighter than Oscar. Oscar may beat him if they fought, but that fight would only be at 154. Hatton vs Mayweather is basically a 140lb fight as mayweather will not be near 150 on the night, Hatton will come in the ring at around 147.

Oscar has recently said hes moving back down to welter. In case you forgot, there was a couple weeks where it looked like Oscar was gonna be fighting Hatton.

As for Mayweather not being near 150 for the night of the fight..................

Delahoya beats Hatton if they fought at 147 (like they were talking about a couple weeks ago ) because Delahoya is a better fighter than Hatton.
