But he also said that cuts will not be a factor at all. Fair enough say they woont win the fight but to say they WILL NOT EFFECT the fight is stupid. Like i said u could argue Hattons body shots wont fe a factor because PBF has never been hurt by a body shot, but in reality they will be a factor.

What F*** up?
If B grade fighters that have fought Ricky have cut him, even minor cuts, then a top guy like Floyd could possibly turn those minor cuts into a major problem. I havent stated that is how the fight will end, but dismissing cuts as a problem is stupid.
but cuts have been a problem all ricky's career...especially early on n he's never been stopped because of them. his team are prepared for cuts so know how to handle it should the problem occur
My point is that if he has any cut problem at all, be it small or not, if its ever gonna become a larger problem it will be against Floyd, by far the fastest most skilled fighter Ricky has faced. Fair?
I never did say it would lose Ricky the fight, but it could become a problem if he does get cut he'll have to change his tactics.....
If he gets cut yet still just rushes forward he will get cut to shreds, anyone would.
Ricky will probably get cut...i'm sure.
Ricky is expecting to be cut too tho. as you say a boxer like pbf is almost certain to cause problems over his eyes. the point is though, Ricky is prepared for it so is going into this fight EXPECTING to be cut. its never been a problem before (look at the stats) so i cant see it been a problem this time.
Just cos u expect something to happen doesnt mean thats what will happen. If Floyd hits Hatton in the same cut over and again it'll be a problem. Floyd expects Hatton to go to the body, and is ready for it. doesnt mean its not gonna be a problem for him. Knowing something is going to happen is one thing, stopping it is the hard bit.

He never changes tactics. The last time he was told the fight would be stopped due to a cut (if he did not beat him in that round) he nearly broke the guy in two with a body shot. I'll see if it's on youtube.
So u are saying if he gets a bad cut against Floyd he'll charge forward still. That would be the end of Hatton there. Floyd will be picking him off all night. And Ricky has never faced anyone nearly as skilled as Floyd.
