El Gamo , if you wanna see a fight that will give you some insight on Yaqui Lopez, watch the fight between him and Saad Mohammed. Good back and forth in that one, at one point in the 7th or eigth he throws a wicked flurry of about 15-20 unanswered punches...Saad Mohammed by some miracle stayed on his feet and after the onslaught started to come back with his own big shots. Great fight I just watched it the other day.
I would like to add Juan Roldan tough as nails fighter out of Argentina.
Dwight Qawi is another that gets overlooked because of his record, but he gave everyone a tough fight, he was like a slightly smaller version of Frazier.
Sumbu Kalambay big wins over alot of the british middleweights of the time, Steve collins , Herol Graham(twice),Iran Barkley.
Mike "the bodysnatcher" McCallum, lots of big names on his resume. So many to name...
