I think I speak for the Cotto fans when I say bring on some more areas that you feel Cotto lacks in.
Cause guess what? So that next time around when he shuts people up AGAIN both you and I will be surprised together.

It's one thing to take note of a fighters weaknesses but when a fighter goes out and proves that he can minimize those weaknesses and convert into an all around fighter. What else do you want?

He KO's people, the opponent was overrated.
He outboxe's people, Cotto lost because he ran. That's not the Cotto that we've seen he's scared now.

Make up your mind. It's alright not to be fan. I ain't no PBF but I sure as hell know hes the best boxer of his/this generation.

I appreciate what your saying, but all fighters get helaciously scrutinized. Cotto, Hatton, Mayweather, Margarito etc.

When you love your fighter you love your fighter, when you hate a fighter you hate is azzz and look for anything.

Cotto showed a better defense and sick counterpunching, Shane wasnt gonna come in and leave unless he got one on the way in or the way out. Also Cotto showed smarts by backing off in the mid 9th when he realized he wasnt gonna take Shanes will or heart. He wasnt gonna take anymore punishment to deliver his own. He was ahead and boxed on his backfoot effectively. It was far from a prime super fast Mosely but a 1/2 of Shane Mosely is better than 98% out there. Cotto done very well and should be heavily favored in anyfight except maybe Mayweather. Miguel Cotto

I always, ALWAYS have a reservation or two about a fighter. I always wondered if Cotto would ever show the coolness he showed in his earlier days and more to the point it looked like to me that Cotto would be a badly worn horse within the next couple of years.... Simply because i believed that as he fought a higher caliber of opponent, he'd only wind up taking more punishment.

I really thought he'd wind up a Gatti type. It could still happen but i doubt it will be any time soon.

I give Cotto major major props, defo top 10 p4p was impressed with his chin, speed style heart everything. Still not a fan though. I'll prolly always want him to losse i think (unless he fights williams, i fking hate him now)

I do have massive respect for cotto and i really hope i can become a fan of his and praise the shit out of him, but i just can't take to him atm and but i don't know why lol
