Hey I'm American I'm used to watching good teams under perform due to bad coaching or selfish play (we have that more in basketball though which I guess is more similar to your situation).....I'm sorry if it sounds a bit harsh at the moment but nothing is gained by sugar coating the result. If you play the victim role now the players will start playing that role anytime they have a bad game. People need to be accountable for the lack of success and firing the manager was a step in the right direction.

England's players and fans will learn a lot from watching this year's matches and in the end they'll want it more and play with some fucking heart.
