Yeah Brass Bands are great....Not music I could listen to all the time but on a rare occasion good stuff....TBH it is seeing one in person that is great...to hear ot on the radio or something is kind of drab....

Never even heard a brass band live Scrap but I heard a live orchestra (live) for the first time last year and it was just stunning. I think I understand what you mean.

The orchestra is something I really love....My girlfriend through my teenage years Mother was a Violinest with the Phil Harmonic.,..she was forever parcticing at home in this special sound proof room that had AC 365 to keep the instrurments at a certain temp....entailed stuff...

I was lucky enough to see Ennio Morricone live once....He did his theams from all the speggetti westerns...The theme of a fist full of dollars was abosolutely fantastic made the hair on my arms stand on end
