To be the best in the world, you have to have fought and beat the best in the world and Floyd has not beat the best in the world. He never unified one division and he beat a bunch of old men who were on their last leg. Why do people get this all twisted. Floyd did something most men can't or won't dare try and that is move up in weights and that takes talent, TREMENDOUS talent. Nobody will argue that. To me he is a gifted athlete who got a few breaks based on the competion that was there at the time. To me, Floyd is one of the greatest defensive pugs the world has ever seen. He has yet to prove he is the greatest fighter because he is lacking in the fight dept and again I repeat, he has not beat the best in the world yet.
