Great list!! your taste varies to about the same degree as mine.

I'll second the Oasis, Pink Floyd, Pantera, Beates (add all their other albums too), Sepultura - Beneath the remains...

Add

Cradle of Filth - Cruelty and the Beast (a metal masterpiece)
Metalica - Master of puppets, kill 'em all, ride the lighting, Load
Slayer - Their big live album which I can't remember the name of
Guttermouth - Live at the pharmacy
NOFX - I heard they suck live
Red hot chilli peppers - Blood sugar sex magic
Rancid - And out come the wolves
Operation Ivy - Self titles
U2 - Joshua Tree
Bon Jovi - Slippery when wet, New Jersey
Cold Chissel - Dunno the album name, my favourite Aussie band though
Nirvana - Nevermind
Led Zeppelin - can't remember the name of the album
Credence - Greatest hits

All these I have listened to from start to finish a thousand times and all were absolute favourites at one time or another in my life..

But my peice de resistance, my favourite album of all time is definetly....

....*.*.*.*.*..drum roll..*.*.*.*....

Nirvana - Unplugged in New York.....

A masterpeice of live music.... An album that should never have worked, but is stunning from the first second to the last.... Through a $2000 headphone setup, I can sit in that room with Nirvana, for an hour, every single night and feel every rise and fall of energy in that performance and hear every single naunce.. Pure heaven...

That'll be a stayer for as long as I live.

CC thats a damn good list (except for the Metallica - I must be the only metal fan who doesn't like them. Musically they're ok, but I don't like Hetfields voice or lyrics that much. I don't hate them or anything, just not a big fan).

Unplugged in NY is a fucking amazing album, but I was trying to limit myself to one album per band and I feel In Utero captures the essence of Nirvana better than any other recording. Unplugged is amazing though, its my favorite vocal performance of all time. Its actually the album that awakened my love of music. I remember sitting on my uncles couch when I was about 12, 13 and he put that cd on and it just enthralled me, I had never heard someone sing like that before, with so much emotion in his voice. In many ways its a perfect eulogy for K. Cobain, may he rest in peace.
