You misunderstand me. There are still people living in trailers after the Katrina business. The "aid" these people have gotten is subpar, by far. A lot of them a SOL solely because they were told they didn't need flood insurance before the disaster or told the insurance covered the floors but not the walls or something insane like that. For it to be happening a second time is indicative that the system needs a complete overhaul.
?? I think we actually agree. In my case,The Insurance would not Initially cover my house as a lose because they The adjusters (F!!!! Fools and totally out of there depth) ruled it Flood damage.well the Floods were a result of THE HURRICANE force winds resulting in tidal surge which destroyed the feeble levee's(designed by the army corp of engineers). They (Insurance companys)backdoored alot of policy holders and refused thousand's of claims. There are documented cases of these assigned adjusters having absolutley no training At All....You know what my Adjuster was doing 2 weeks before Katrina hit......WORKING AT BLOCKBUSTER!!!!No joke,And not a thing we could do about it.They did not even OFFER flood damage but I had "full" hurricane coverage.Winds=surge=break=lost house!! They tried to say it was ONLY Rainfall. sorry for the rant man but this s!!! still gets me Pissed beyond belief.Your totally right..The system is Broke big time.
Thanks for your good words though, were a tough lot down here. Will rebound 100%
I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have to live in a trailer..My Buisness survived Damage.
