Pitbulls are instinctively dominant, you cant have males together, they will inevitably fight if they weren't raised together from puppies. Once one achieves dominance the others wont fight anymore. The scary thing is when they fight its vicious, they lock their jaws, and you need to jam a stick in their jaw to make them let go. I saw this first hand when my friends pit attacked his other dog. This dog could bite on to something like a towel and you could swing him around and he wouldnt let go....they are strong f*****. Its weird tho because my other friend has a pitbull that is like a lap dog, he wouldnt hurt a fly.
That's somewhat true but not entirely accurate. Different breeds of American pitbulls are no different than any other dogs, in that if they are domesticated, they will never assert their aggression on any other animal or person without reason. Nearly any dog can be trained to fight, pitbulls just so happen to be among the most ferocious and powerful. Most dogs are naturally territorial, but most pitbulls who fight are not born to fight, they were bred to fight.
