A flat tax is exactly what wealthy people and corporations want! IT is because it is by far the most 'regressive' type of tax. Taxes such as flat taxes, fees, sales tax, etc. are regressive because poor people pay much more of their % of income on them. Whereas an income type tax is made to a mroe incremental type of system.
Well our income tax brackets are screwed because the wealthy pay a far lower percentage, a flat tax would make them pay more wouldnt it?
