Why doesn't Hatton get over himself and fight Witter?

Hatton won't fight Witter no matter what in my eyes its pretty sad really Hatton says he does'nt want to fight Witter because of all the name calling and slagging off Witter has done towards Hatton.But is'nt this how Hatton got his fight with Mayweather

In all seriousness, do you believe that one throwaway comment triggered the fight between Hatton and Maywether?
Were you not listening when the commentators said that the parties had been in negotiations for up to two years before?

And in reality, one comment is hardly comparable to years of demeaning, disrespectful and in some cases downright immature slurs?
