Witter is considered by pretty much every boxing fan who knows what there talking about to be 2nd or 3rd best Jr Welterweight in the world. So why does Witter have to make a name for himself ?? if thats the case then why did Hatton fight the virtually unknown Juan Urango ?? and why was Hatton considering fighting Rees who is much more less of a name than Witter is.

Hes just waiting for Witter to become more of a challenger in the respect it will get more PPV and more legacy cementing.
You just said yourself that you consider Witter the 2nd best Jr Welterweight in the world yes ?? so why does Witter have to get himself a better status if you and mostly every boxing fan consider him the 2nd best Jr Welterweight ?? Witter is already doing the right thing but fighting Hopkins and getting himself a name over in USA. So if Hatton does not fight Witter after that then that will be very disappointing on Hatton's part plus it will look very suspicious IMO. Witter has been calling Hatton out for years the fans want to see who really is number 1 Jr Welterweight in the world so why should Witter have to keep waiting ??

That would take another 2 years at least will Hatton even be fighting then ??
