As you have all said he is the number two and rightly so, why doesnt he get himself even better status and defiantly earn that Hatton fight. I will accept Hatton is ducking him if this is the case but untill then to say Hatton is scared of Witter is just S*** really, hes not scared at all. Hes just waiting for Witter to become more of a challenger in the respect it will get more PPV and more legacy cementing.

If Witter beat Paulio Mallinagi, Gavin Rees and Ricardo Torres and faught Hatton, that would look x10 better if Hatton beat him, if he faught him now, it would just be another 140 fighter on Hattons record and what does that do for legacy? Not a lot i think. If Witter can get more of a name and Hatton fights against Him,Diaz and Manny Pac, thats what I call a legacy for Hatton. The floyd loss can go on the grounds that he was the best fighter in the world and Hatton showed his balls and faught and lost to the best in the world. But in doing that he did his best.

I think that Witter is capable of fighting the names at 140 and in doing so he will get a better name for himself to set up the Hatton fight. I just cant make this point anymore clearer in defence of Ricky, I believe that by this time next year we will see Witter fully deserving the fight and it will be a SUPERFIGHT at 140. For all of the belts, the ring magazine belt and a S*** load of money. Both fighters get a better legacy, all will go down better for the fans too.

So what would you prefer that to happen or Hatton fight Witter now when he has no name in the USA and a WBC belt which doesnt mean too much, or a fight for all 4 belts, legacy, lots of money and something that the fans in Britian will deserve... I know which one i would choose!
Your right Hatton is waiting for the best time. Witter is 33. A couple of more years and Witter would be 35, 36. He'll lose some of his reflexes and speed. He'll be less of a threat. Than Hatton would jump at the chance to face him. Hatton's coward a** ain't fooling nobody. It's been his pattern his whole career. Anybody that can't see that is just a blind groupie.
But wont Hattons skills fall as well in 2 years? Witter is a nobody at this momment, he needs just a couple more names on his record and one more belt and that will be enough to tempt Hatton. I just dont understand why people dont want Witter to get even more status in order to fight Hatton. Hattons last few fights have to be against GOOD named fighters, at this momment I only see Witter as just another 140 pounder, not a career defineing fighting who offers something good on Hattons record. But im not saying that Witter can be something defining on his record just a win over D hop and another belt in my eyes will be enough for him to warrent the Hatton fight. I dont see what the problem for that is? In the end it will just make the fight bigger than it could be now, so just be patient and let the 140 devision unfold.

What would you all say if Witter got KTFO in his next fight anyway? I would just see him as another 140 pounder.
