As strange as it sounds the Wright-Trinidad fight is what got me into boxing, the technical brilliance Winky showed in that fight was awsome. He's been my favorite fighter since that point. There's no doubt in my mind that fighting B-Hop at 170 was a big mistake though, even if he had won the find he was still going to have to cut weight for his next fight and at his age that could have serious consequences.

Winky is P4P one of the best right now.
Very. VERY difficult to fight.
One of my favs!
No Winky did not beat Taylor it was a draw, very close fight that could of gone either way. And Winky is nowhere near being one of the best P4P fighters at the moment, he isn't even top 10 P4P fighter.
I would still have him in the top 10 P4P list, he only lost (competitively) to B-Hop, who is easily in the top 5 P4P. But those are so subjective and I'm obviously biased. I also felt he was robbed against Taylor (again, I'm biased), but I couldn't believe he didn't press the action in the last round. I still shake my head about that.
1 Floyd Mayweather
2 Manny Pacquiao
3 Joe Calzaghe
4 Bernard Hopkins
5 Juan Manuel Marquez
6 Miguel Cotto
7 Israel Vasquez
8 Rafael Marquez
9 Ivan Calderon
10 Juan Diaz
11 Kelly Pavlik
12 Winky Wright
13 Ricky Hatton
14 Joan Guzman
15 Jermain Taylor
16 Shane Mosley
17 Mikkel Kessler
18 Christian Mijares
19 Wladimir Klitschko
20 Chris John

Thats how i roughly see the top 20.
It's hard to argue with most of that list, like I said they're very subjective. I don't agree with having Juan Diaz ranked that high though, I'd have Pavlik and Wright ahead of him for sure, and maybe a few others as well.
