Too late for platitudes, the damage is done, feelings have been hurt and there's no going back

I think my damage was done way before I made this post. I'm almost 10,000 posts in now and I've dug a hole so deep it will be quicker to keep digging and come out the other side than to try and climb back up the way I came.

But I like to dig holes, I am a hobbit after all
