I have to say, that this fight in terms of back and forth action and ferocity matched that of the Castillo-Corrales fight.

I would also say that these two fighters, Vasquez and Marquez were more technically sound that Castillo and Corrales.

Would you all say that this fight was a better fight than Castillo -Corrales? Why and why not?

my answer....close...it was as good as that fight...maybe a bit better cause it went the 12 rounds.
Having been ringside for both fights here's me thoughts....

I think Rafa-Israel III had more action back and forth from round 1 to round 12. It was also at a higher level of skill meaning we saw some inside fighting, outside fighting, lot's of ring generalship by both.
JLC-Corrales I, I think was a bit more slow and the rounds were not as action packed as the ones in Rafa-Israel III. JLC-Corrales I the rounds had small bursts here and there but not as sustained as Rafa-Israel III.

The comeback. You gotta go with JLC-Corrales I. I don't think anyone here thought Israel was finished coming into the 12th round?
Now how many of us thought Chico was finished after the 2 knockdowns?

All in all I think they were both GREAT fights.
