Default Re: The Cotto vs. Mayweather saga explained to the haters.

How can anybody say that Mayweather is ducking/not giving a shot/avoiding Miguel Cotto? When you lay out the facts, it's pretty obvious that everything is coming together very nicely.
    How so?

We all know that Miguel Cotto is fighting Alfonso Gomez soon and Floyd Mayweather is giving Oscar Delahoya a rematch later this year, a rematch that makes too much sense to pass up.
It makes sense only to Floyd and to ODLH. This makes no sense to the fans since the first fight was not a real fight.
I have seen more action in a backyard brawl free of charge biatch.

Oscar Delahoya gave Mayweather his toughest fight since his first fight with Jose Luis Castillo en route to losing a split decision, while both fighters made more money that they ever had before. Don't forget, that many people (admittedly mostly people that don't really follow boxing) thought that Delahoya was robbed. Meanwhile, Miguel Cotto is fighting the extremely inferior Alfonso Gomez. According to Bob Arum's latest interview on boxingtalk.com, he's got Cotto slated to fight the winner of Cintron vs. Margarito later this year. My question is this.....
I need to burp. (Insert burp here <-----

How is Mayweather avoiding Cotto when Bob Arum has Cotto's schedule wrapped up for the rest of the year??
Last night, Miguel was on Don Francisco. When asked about why ODLH will not fight him, Cotto replied that he does not know
Why ODLH is choosing to take the route that he is taking. He did say that he wanted to unify the division but that he was not going
to sit around and wait for anyone. If you recall, Joy made Margarito wait and wait and wait. Floyd claimed he was retired which was a ploy
to get Tony off his ass. Once Tony moved on, Floyd came right back. Now everyone wants to see Cotto/Mayweather but chicken boy Floyd after the
ODLH fight said he was reitiring, and he said it again after the Hatton fight. He keeps saying he is retiring and this forces Cotto to move on.
Again, it is Floyd who is playing little chicken shit games and trying to avoid the best and REAL welter weight champions. He has you fooled but not me.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14WjZb20kZo
This is a little reminder of Floyd making the claims of not wanting to fight any welter weight.
What he really ment was, I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT MIGUEL COTTO, who is right now, THEE best Welter Weight. Did you think Cotto was dumb enough to make the same mistake Tony made? Nope! Fuck Floyd, if the bitch wont fight, Cotto will find some one else with the balls who will.

For those that are new to boxing, allow me to explain how this works.
For those of you who are new to Saddo, Frozen Solid would suck Floyd's stick if Floyd would let him.

Cotto unifies the WBA and IBF belts by beating Cintron/Margarito. Mayweather successfully defends his WBC title against the extremely popular and big $$$ maker Oscar Delahoya.
No one knows if this is a title fight. Sit down. We don't know at what weight these two bitch boys are going to dance at.

In the meantime, Mayweather is doing things to increase his popularity amongst the general population in hopes to make his name a household name, i.e. "Dancing With the Stars," "Wrestlemania," etc. So that people who don't even watch or follow boxing will still shell out $59.95 for a PPV ala Oscar Delahoya.
I don't care what Floyd does, he will never be like ODLH in ticket sales. Oscar can fight any bum and still bring in the bank. Floyd, on the other hand needs someone
popular like ODLH or Ricky Hatton to make a decent event. Fighting Cotto should make sense because EVERYONE wants to see them fight. What don't you and Floyd understand about this. Every boxing site and Forum talks about Cotto/PBF this includes writers, sportscaster, commentators, you name it, they want it.

Then early next year, we will have one of the biggest, most lucrative welterweight unification championships ever when undefeated champion/household name Floyd Mayweather Jr. takes on the fellow undefeated champion/vicious, hungry Miguel Cotto.
You don't even believe this shit. You don't want to see this fight just like you did not want to see PBF vs Margarito. So, why have you been wanting to see
Cotto/Margarito but not the other way around?

Do the haters honestly believe that this fight would be that big of a deal ($$$) if the fight happened 2 months ago, tomorrow, or 4 months from now??
We are tired of talking about it. Make it happen. We know Floyd will not deliver. We know he lies and cheats. This is his M.O.

Of course not. But because boxing is a big money business for the highly successful fighters, this is how it will play out. Bob Arum knows this, Floyd Mayweather knows this, Miguel Cotto knows this, I know this, when is it going to sink in to the haters' heads?
    Blah blah blah blah.
