the issue with calzaghes punches is that he doesnt know how to throw punches


he throws arm punches, and he taps people, which is why people think he is fast


there is a story that calzaghes father knew NOTHING about boxing, and calzaghe wanted to be a figher, so his father went out and got a book about boxing and used it to teach calzaghe how to throw punches, i guess he didnt comprehend what he read cuz calzaghes punching technique is awful

ive seen calzaghe fight many times and dont base what i think about him on one fight, and yes manfredo is a bum, and lacy showed that he is close to a bum by having a competitive fight with manfredo


i think lacy turned out to have ZERO defense and i think if it wasnt for an accidental headbutt lacy would have lost to typsko before getting a belt and we never would have seen the calzaghe fight


i cant imagine calzaghe doing anytthing in this fight, i expect it to be like wright soliman, and unless hopkins turns out to be osteoporosis ridden or something i cannot imagine him losing this fight


and wasnt eubank like 42 when he fought calzaghe?

Let me guess, hopkins is 'past it', dawson is 'inexperienced and a bum who was overhyped just like lacy' and pavlik is 'a big hitter who was inexperienced and moving up in weight'...am i correct?
