I can sympathize with her somewhat, I didn't break my kneecap, but I have dislocated my right kneecap 5 times playing softball. I had to have surgery to clean up the mess in there.

Give her a warning, I'm assuming that she hasn't been able to bend her knee since it happened. If so, just let her know that when she goes to rehab, and the first time they have her bend it, it will be painful. I'm pretty pain tolerent, but bending my knee for the first time after not being able to for over 2 months, brought me to tears. They sat me on a table, took off my brace, and then told me to let it drop down slowly. It took me forever to do it.

Please give her my best wishes for a painfree recovery.
Yeah, the fence blew over on her while I had her holding it up{Some boyfriend huh?}

I have seen her have a chunk of meat ripped out of her leg and not cry, but when I saw her crying after I picked the fence off her I knew it was bad. She is not looking forward to rehab. Thanks for the wishes; I'll tell her she's f#cked
Oh Lord, I hope you are catering to her for that!!!
Well I needed to set some poles up to hold it properly, and the wind wasn't blowing hardly. So I ran around the house, was about 10 feet away, and a strong gust of wind chose that particular time to blow and about 20 yards of 8 ft fence went over on her I was laughing until I heard her crying
