Its not the greatest broadcast. For some reason it skips like a minute of the fight in the second round and like 30 seconds of it in the third. Picture's not great either. But its enough to see basically how he looked, pretty nasty finish.

Sucks that the fight is cut off.
I just saw the fight now and it's missing some really good work by Montiel.

I consider Donaire as the more technical and has more power than Z Gorres and Gorres gave Montiel a close fight... Tho as what many said here that it seems Montiel improved a lot after the Gorres bout...
As I've said time and time again Montiel had just finished fighting at Bantam (moved up in weight) vs. Jhonny.
It was his 1st move up in weight, I would say that had a lot to do with it.
But no excuses he won the fight and that's what matters.
Yeah I've decided I'm going with Mijares too. Its a very even fight though. But as good as Montiel has looked in the past two fights, three fights ago against Melendez he had some sketchy moments. And he has frozen up a bit on the big stage before. I don't really think he will again in a Mijares fight but its at least something to think about.

Like VD said though, he definitely has become more aggressive lately.
