I'm from Canada... and planning to go to Europe for a couple weeks this Christmas. To be honest, I had no interest in coming to England. I thought, "Why would I go there? See Prince Charles and his sons play some friggin polo? Stand out in the rain?" But after coming on here, I gotta get to over there some time. You people are a funny group of people, especially when it comes to insults. I swear you could fill a dictionary just with British insults. And the words you use are hillarious to me, and I am having to keep myself from letting them sneak their way into my vocabulary. I don't want to come across as a wanna be Brit!
But yeah... if you see a young guy smashed out of his mind this Christmas, wearing Canadian gear in hopes that it really is true that Canadians get treated extra well most places, it could be me. Come say hi. Of course there is a pretty good chance that it won't be me, and you'll look like a fool. Ahh well.
Just thought I'd say... keep up the good humour. Sometimes when I travel south to the US I get the exact opposite vibe. (Not all Americans, so don't go on a sad click fest please).
*** Wrong board, could someone move this to the Lets Get it on board please?
