Thanks for the article, but from the perspective of the Calzaghe camp why face Pavlik when you can fight a known legend, that is knowingly past his prime and will knowingly bring more money? I would be super impressed with Calzaghe if he fights Pavlik, but realistically it's hard to picture Old man Joe taking any other option than Jones is well not likely.

Myself, I looked at it as a fight where both guys are taking a huge risk. When fighters lay it all on the line, that will spell better reputations even if they lose. I look at undefeated records as a negative mark as they just did not try hard enough.

This is why I am looking forward to Miranda vs Abraham this weekend. it will be a smoker
