I still really have no idea how Miranda will hold up against the better SMW's, the only guy he's fought who would be as strong(although stronger) than Andrade was Pavlik, who whipped his ass. I think people exagerate how close that fight was, or how well Miranda did.. He was basically rendered useless by being forced backwards, only able to connect with arm punches that didn't carry close to his signature snap. I really won't be sure how this fight, or many others would go for Miranda until I see some evidence that he is going to be able to mount some effective offence while being forced backwards. I think there are several guys at 168 strong enough to push him back, Andrade being one of them.
Well said i understand what your saying i would say Miranda is better than Andrade although not by much like you said, but i do agree that both men have different strong points. Its funny you should bring up Andrade's defense i watched few of his fights few days ago and i noticed that he rolled with the punches, i was one of those people that thought Andrades defense is garbage but looking at some of his fights he does have a somewhat underrated defense, although saying that it still needs some work for certain. I agree with what your saying in regards to Pavlik vs Miranda i never really thought Miranda landed that jackpot punch if you know what i mean ?? he used no technique getting no body weight, shoulders, or feet into his shots. Also like you said there was no snap or speed in his punches, which does generate power. Plus i only gave Miranda one round if i remember right, i know you may laugh at this but i think Bika could also be strong enough to force Miranda on the back foot, but he needs to improve on his punching technique, because if he throws those wide looping shots against Miranda, Miranda's straight shots right down the pipe will bust Bika up badly.
