However, it's almost a curse on him that he can't win a fight, as I do think that he fights well and has the talent.. I think he's a good opponent for some of the guys out there and generally makes a good fight.. But the poor guy has to add 20% to his game, and he'd be topping almost everyone..
I think he does make a good fight, but I feel he's done nothing to merit a title shot or even a title eliminator.

Had Zab gone away and beaten someone like Baldomir or Quintana...sure give him a shot. But Zab hasn't won anything of note in a long long time.
