All this talk, just a shame we never had the chance to see it.Think it would have been great.
right on. it would have been great. imo, what separates campas and margo was their punching technique. while campas compact punching was really really good, margos stragiht punch sucks. it was one of the worst among big names. i dont i think it would work against either campas or tito whose fighting assets include compact and accurate punching technique.
When he uses his range,Tonys long right is just fine!I think Tony would come underneath forward leaning Campas all night with uppercuts and at range would cause Campas headaches. Both run risks here of breaking they're hands on the others granite heads Lol .Campas was a top notch body puncher but I could see Margarito grinding him down.....possibly causing a stoppage in the corner.
campas game was to get inside and throw all he can. hes pretty good at that (the record speaks for itself). what could another slow fighter do to stop him from coming forward? jabs and footworks? unfortunately margo was not known for those departments. if campas chooses to mix it up and rough margo in the inside, i see a campas stopping margo in late rounds. the better infighter wins this one and its campas
