CFH sounds grumpy today.

Gotta go with the Killers. Both bands have a sound which doesn't try to fit in or ask what they should be, but to me simply are.

Not everyone is about lyrics, and I don't think it is even really all that necessary. It would sort of negate classical music wihich is timeless to suggest music requires good lyrics. But in this day and age, of hip hop, and trendy pop, where masses listen to what the words are and fashion themselves to them...I like something to think about. Not being told what is what. The Killers do this for me. The Strokes got a great simple raw sound, and are also smart.

So yea, I like em both too. But tip my hat as is noticable, a bit towards The Killers.

The songs gotta say something.
I hate to hear songs where they are just rhyming words but not saying much.
I hate stupid lyrics I like songs that say something a story or theres a meaning.
One of the worst lyrics I've ever heared/read:
"So happy together, how is the weather"
WTF?
They just rhymed together with weather. That's fucken lame.

And never heard the Strokers. Sound like a bunch of nelly belly's to me JK Mick.
