Does it mean Hatton is ducking him if he doesn't give it to him? Not in the least. He has bigger fish to fry.

And you sound like a kid screaming, "Oh, but he said this after the fight. He can't take it back!!!"

It's like Delahoya said after the Mayorga fight, a fighter's emotions aren't in check after a fight. He said he'd take a week or two before sitting down and thinking about the future. Hatton's pride was simply stung by the criticism after the fight and he was too quick to accept any rematch.
