A laundry list of injuries, and minimal brain activity after a fall from doing some roofing work,do pass, but not in a you get to joke about later sort of way.
Fought in good competition against him,and fought alongside him for 15/16 years now,all it takes is a voice on the other end of the phone saying,"Ive got some news your not going to want to hear.............."
Ive hit this guy hard enough to shatter bricks, just to have him grin at me,and he gets killed playing Bob Fucking Villa?

Falling injuries are so unpredictable. I fell 40+ feet to the pavement and even though I suffered 22 fractures and had to go through years of operations and rehab, I am about 75% fully functional now. I can walk fine, but cannot run due to instability in my knees. I have more metal in my legs than bone I think, but I lucked out even though I have chronic pain.

A friend of mine in the same business, was sitting on top of an 8 foot step latter, fell backwards off of it, hit the back of his head and died.

Sometimes none of this makes any sense at all. There have been many times when I question if I was lucky to actually survive as I have been through an endless line of struggles and pain since, but I get through it.

I am so sorry to hear about your friend, and I hope he is in a better place now. Just reading about it brings out a lot of emotion in me. Life can be unfair and truly just suck at times.
