Or the ref stopped it a round or 2 earlier i just think Tsurkan took unnecessary punishment, which he shouldn't of taken had the ref or his corner had done there job properly IMO.

Those are givens... Like I said in my first posts the ref or corner could have stopped it on numerous occasions but that wasn't the point...

The over the top histrionics of Lampley and all the ring death talk made me literally ANGRY!

Should the fight have been stopped? Absolutely. His corner should have stopped it prior cuz Tsurkan was throwing back(to no avail)

But Lampley's SCREAMIN "Go Down!" to the fighter in the ring? C'mon...

fucking ridiculous!
Two different points for me on this one.I do think the fight should have been stopped as Tsurkan was taking unending Punishment down the stretch and I thought Angulo seemed to ease off the tempo in the late rounds.I think that if Angulo Really doubled up the onslaught,he could have forced the stoppage......Or walked in a one in a million sunday punch ??

About Lamp's, Imo.....Lampley is a drama king.Looooooves to hear himself rant & rave like a living comic book and might just be his own biggest fan.He is a hypeman for the network plain & simple and he could have sat there like a quite school boy in the front row and I still would not care for him .The yelling directly to Tsurkan was pointless as all Tsurkan was hearing was what sounded like a train rolling over his head and it suddenly slamming on the brakes .Remember Teddy Atlas doing something like this during Nate Campbell vs. Ricky Quiles in the 11 or 12 round but He was yelling directly at the Referee "Stop this fight,Stop the fight dammit".
