Why is it a foregone conclusion that Manny is going to lose? I understand odds being stacked against him, but it's not as if Oscar doesn't have his own handicap. The weight and age- Oscar is an obviously over-the-hill fighter, although still very good. Had this bout come when Oscar could normally get to 147 I'd give it to him, though it would still be hard fought. But Oscar just put himself through hell to get to 150lbs. Remember how f*cking miserable he looked on 24/7 eating that crap before the Mayweather fight? That was so he could only get down to 154 and that will be a year and a half ago come fight night. David Diaz was a game opponent at 135 and just got BEATEN. What did he say? He felt like Freddy Roach got in the ring and was beating on him too. Just like I said with PBF I'll say with Manny- he doesn't have to come in at 147 pounds. Maybe he comes in at 143 (unless there's something in the contract that limits how far away from 147 he can be). What if Manny comes in just as fast as last time and a helluva lot stronger? Couldn't it just as easily be possible he gives Oscar his second KO loss?
