Hopkins knows what he is in for, if you look at any of the press conferences he is talking very little trash about Tarvar, he only claims that he will be the victor. Past opponents have been ridiculed by B-Hop such as Taylor, Trinidad, Joppy. He's not pulling that with Tarvar, you can see that when they went face to face for the photo. Tarvar of course is doing his usually trash talking
Cool Click. you made a profound point. Hopkins is usually in the shoes of the intimidator, the bad guy and the bully. And usually his opponents are shorter than him. In this match Tarver is the intimidator, the bad guy and the bully, and he is tall as if not taller than Hopkins.
Saturday night interview was the first interview I saw Hopkins somewhat subdued and carefully choosing his words while Tarver was outspoken.
This may very well be the first fight that Hopkins is going into with a psychological disadvantage.
