Just looking at Moore's boxrec profile, was he a highly touted amateur or something? Because his early level of opposition was insane.

He along with Alex Ramos and others were the best from the 80's and they were highly touted. I believe Moores debut was televised a series of boxing shows here in the States.

I still can't get over his early level of opp. I wonder how long and storied his career would have been if he was managed like most of the fighters today...
