It isn't necessarily that he was running from anyone. Just because Oscar dresses in fishnets, doesn't mean he's a bitch. From my understanding Oscar always has fought tough fights.

Personally, I was disappointed Oscar didn't fight Margarito because Oscar said prior to the Margarito v. Cotto fight that he would fight the winner. In reality, Oscar was willing to fight Cotto, but not Margarito. Why?

I also disagree with you that Oscar would knock Margarito out. First, Oscar looked very mediocre in his most recent outing in what was labeled as a warm-up fight to his upcoming match with the winner of the Margarito v. Cotto winner, which Oscar backed out of.

Second, Oscar would have difficulty sustaining Margarito's pace. If you recall, Oscar fought PBF as well as anyone has, up until the 7th or so round. Then Oscar became winded, stopped using his jab, and lost the fight. PBF is not a pressure fighter.

Third, given Oscar's boxing intelligence and experience, based on Oscar's recent choice of opponents, I think it is fair to say Oscar purposefully fought smaller boxers and has stayed away from big punchers. In the last two years, he has chosen to fight: Steve Forbes (5'7), PBF (5' and now Pacman (5'6).

Fourth, if Cotto couldn't hurt Tony "granite-chin" Margarito, how would Oscar?
