(I do tho...)

It sux so bad losing good sparring partners. Aside from famous people and all from boxing, and its history, am at a place where right now I don't have a lot standing in front of me when I climb through the ropes, and it is frustrating. A person needs challenges to learn, and right now in sparring I don't have that.

Ended up sparring my coach last week, as he saw I needed something...as I was in there with all new people, and getting frustrated. He's like 210lbs and in shape, great shape for his 43 years, and thought he even broke my nose for a min. hahah...but I could let go on him, and he went hard on me. But it was a band aid spar...won't be a reg. workout deal.

So I spose, I would take anyone with more experience and better then I currently am...to learn from. Hopefully in the right weight range also.
If its any consolation, the best way to learn is to fight someone you cant beat. You find your way around your own skin that way
Well it is not any consolation, because that was exactly my point.

I don't mind training with new people, and being that marker for them. Paying it forward, if you will. But as of right now, have just lost my reg. sparring partner, and I have no one to challenge me in our gym..something that is obviously crucial.

They also won't just pop out of thin air, as we are isolated where we live. So my only hope really, is that someone shows up. The other possibility is that I can arrange sparring with a few guys from the other boxing club in our city, but as of now we are caught in a rivalry that isn't doing either of us any good and preventing it.
