I can tell you from personal experience that if a 16 year old with no qualifications or somebody in there mid 20s with qualifications/experience and aspirations go for a low paid job in somewhere like McDonalds they will give it to the 16 year old because he is less likely to fuck off after 3 months when a real job comes up and use the place as a stop gap.

Shit jobs still have just as much competition, more in someways and because basically anybody can do them you'll find that your qualifications/experience count for shit whereas your situation does
The UK sounds like a crapshoot. But if the UK is so crap then you have got to leave. Leave it and find a better job.

Ive never had a decent job in the UK.
I don't think its reasonable to expect everyone who can't find work to move to Korea Miles. At the end of the day I think it's fair enought that people want to find work in their own country.

If somebody is actively seeking work and is qualified and willing to work but still not getting work it's as much a failure of the government, companies, economic climate etc as it is that person.

Plus as Von is educated to a high standard with a degree and serious work experience he has every right to want to get a job with career prospects and a good salary. I don't see McDonald's as a fair option for someone who is obviously skilled and has experience that can be put to use at a much higher level.
I wouldnt advise everyone to come to Korea. No way. But educated people shouldnt feel trapped in the UK. Its a pretty miserable little place, I would advise the few educated types to think about their life direction.

The UK is going nowhere special.
