Just saw him on the news after his win over Shannon Taylor...

"I am ready for the best in the world".. "I AM the best in the world"..

I'm wondering if he still believes this.. I'm wondering if he thinks there are still Australians, schooled in boxing or otherwise, who believes this?

One kind of plus is that he's "eyeing off the belt of Felix Sturm" and is considering going to Germany... I rate this fight higher than his last 7 or 8, but eyeing it off is another thing to signing and jumping on a plane over there... However just after that they mentioned Green is coming out of retirement for another crack at Mundine... On past evidence, Mundine will surely take the Green fight and not bother with Sturm... If he goes and beats Felix, he would have a case for a fight in the US, but I have hoped and practically prayed that he'd seek and take a fight with a US fighter and bring himself seriously into the game, but his choice of fights has been so much more than just a let down giving his tallent and potential... Every time he fights or announces a fight, I just feel let down and dissapointed.. And i'm almost 100% i'll be dissapointed with his next scheduled fight..

Like, it might well be the case that he's tried his ass off for months to get a decent respected fighter to get in the ring with him, and just no one wants a piece at all, in which case i'd have empathy and would support him in whatever fights he gets.... But i'm not sure that is the case,,, and even if it is, to still continue declaring your the best in the world is just old and tiresom...
Hell, i'd actually rather him wave a handful of notes about and say how much money he made from his last fight.. At least it would have an ounce of truth or reality to it..

That is all...
