There are times however where he is very tactical, he is one of the best athletes to ever grace boxing, but he needs to utilize that ability along with the boxing skills which he does have, if he wants to compete at the top level. IMO he should be going to Floyd Snr to tighten up that defense, and keep it tight because he is super hard to hit when he doesn't want to be, but he gets drawn into slugfests.
I think this proves what most of us thought Berto is not elite i mean how more gimmes does this guy want??

I think they wont throw him in there with a top Welterweight because they know he will not win, i think Clottley would of been a decent scrap and if Berto fought a clever fight could win but fighting Urango is a joke.

I dont knwo why Berto gets away with an easy ride with this fight, people should be slating him to the high hills, imagine Cotto, Hatton fighters like that took a fight against Urango they would be geting abused from all angles.
Urkal and Jennings spring to mind.

I think Urango is a decent test, he's coming off a few highlight reel KO wins. Not sure what he's done at 147 to get a shot but he's a former 140 champ and imo is passable after such a hard fight against Collazo.

I'd like to see him fight Mosley or Cotto though, but i guess that won't happen until Berto gets another name on his record....and yeah you're right i suppose, Urango won't do in that sense. So long as he follows it up with a live 147er like Clottey then he'll get his shot at the big time....providing he wins.
