Bramble was an unknown force, who upset Mancini and for a two year period became a darling of the boxing media.

A charismatic character with an interesting story he was on the verge of becoming a superstar, when he had the misfortune of running into El Chapo's (Edwin Rosario [rip]) very heavy fists.

Bramble never did get over that defeat and within a few years was a name journeyman, that prospects wanted on their record.

I remember Bramble turning back the clock somewhat in 1991 and giving Kronk's new can't miss star, Oba Carr, ten rounds of trouble. And despite flooring Carr twice, Bramble was on the wrong end of the spilt decision.

By the mid 90s, Bramble was completely gone, and I find it a little sad that he still managed to lose five fights in the 21st century.

His 40-26-3 record does him little justice, he could of easily of been talked about on par with a Hector Camacho (senior), which is ironic as both had future super-stardom taken away from them by Rosario......
