    Smile Chavez wants Mosley

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is talking a lot right now. He says he wants to change camps (he'll be moving to Big Bear for his next fight), get a new trainer (ditching uncle Rodolfo Chavez, perhaps for Robert Garcia), and he wants to fight Sugar Shane Mosley.
Mosley (46-5, 39 KO) wants to fight Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather Jr. because he's 37 years old and wants major paydays, but neither fight would appear too likely. Recent scuttlebutt is that Mayweather doesn't think Mosley draws enough (and Mosley has never been a major PPV draw without Oscar) and that the Pacquiao camp really isn't even considering him.
It'd be a shame for Mosley to sit around fighting once a year again after his huge win against Antonio Margarito in January. A fight with Chavez would have to take place at 154, where Mosley is maybe 75% as good as he is at 147. Simply put at this age, Mosley at 154 looks like he should consider retirement. At 147 he's one of the world's very best still.
Still, Chavez (39-0, 29 KO) has never faced anyone even close to Mosley's class, and by that I mean the 154-pound Mosley. Most everyone, I suspect, would see Mosley ripping Chavez to pieces. JCC Jr. simply isn't good enough unless he surprises a whole lot of people, and I'd be shocked to see Bob Arum sacrifice his cash cow this year against a Golden Boy fighter. We're talking about a guy who struggled in two of his last three fights against Matt Vanda and Luciano Cuello.

Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision.
