Other notable cities we visited but I don't have pictures of were:

Moab, UT - A destination for adventure sports people, Utah has really strict drinking laws, and strict laws about everything really. But it is a beatiful area, a lot of people that are into rock crawling go here to climb "Lion's Back".

Boulder, CO - A college town, probably the most liberal place in Colorado. The flat irons are near the city. It was really strange there was ethnic food from all over the world, but the population is almost all white. One of the more interesting things we saw there was a teahouse. The people of Tajikistan came together to build a teahouse over 40 artisans and craftsman, hand painted the walls and ceilings, had carved all the posts and made bronze statues. This was then dissassembled and reassembled in Boulder. The city of Boulder set up a relief fund for Dushanbe (the capital of Tajikistan).

Denver, CO - Denver is a suprisingly small city but it bustles with business and fancy architecture.

Santa Fe, NM - Is what a city looks like when there is very little middle class. As the main hub of southwest art, it is a breeding ground of snobbery. It is interesting though how many adobe homes there are.

Gallup, NM - Near the Arizona/New Mexico border. It is part of a section where Route 66 and the I-40 are the same road, there were a ton of hotels. It was definately offseason as the place was completely dead and some hotels had deals like 2 rooms for $29.99

Flagstaff, AZ - The major city of northern Arizona, home of NAU. Lots of hippies that can't afford it continue to live there because of the scenery.
