For what its worth man utd have offered 33.5mil in english pounds and theyve turned that down so they are hardly likely to accept 35mil euros are they??
Well, you see, the thing is that for the past couple years, the 4 last teams to make the final are always from England or like 3 of them are, in the long run, it is very bad because it drains interests, just the same to always see the same 2-3 teams battling for the title in France, England, Spain or Italy. If there was an english team every year for the championsleague, it wouldn't be that bad, but when 3 or 4 of the last finalists are almost always from england, it kills football, I would say the same if they would come from Canada, Santa Banana, Iceland or Norway.

So how exactly would FIFA go about altering that?

Would they put an embargo on transfers for clubs in england? would they supply the likes of milan, madrid with finances??

The premiership is the most watched sporting competition in the world. Surely that shoud be embraced rather than criticised??
The premiereship is great, I have no problems with it, I have problem with all the money stirred into up and which is about to gear down many of your teams because they just can't follow the pace. I am also against to see always a country, no matter which one it is, outrageously dominating all the competitions. I was too young to see the Italian dictating the pace back in the days but my stand would be the same on then, And ideas on it? It would touch as well other big teams:

1) you cannot buy a player under 18 years old to another team's formation except if that formation has huge credit problems
2) always have at least, let's say, 5 players from your formation department in your squad, it would force teams to invest more in development, would reduce the disparities between the teams a bit and the rich would still keep the upper hand though the disparity would be reduced.
3) I would also modify laws concerning players, it's too easy for them to disrepect a contract and to "not play" in order to force a transfert if they are unhappy even if it is exaggerated, a player that would decide not to pay to make the forcing would simply not be paid

We could also think of a luxury tax system for high transferts in order to help teams that are about to sink because of the impossible pace.
