I can only compare one other fighter to mayweather and thats sugar ray. The only diff i see with this sensetive situation (because others might view it different) is that sugar has blemishes on his record. And that is his legacy. Thats the tale of the tape for him. Prove you wrong with what? He lost to Duran in his prime, his 2 other losses came about 10 and 20 years later. Maybe he could have retired undefeated if there were shot Gattis, Mitchells and Judahs hanging about or a shit Baldomir type held some title......but he fought all time greats instead.
